Surf, Wildlife, Diversity
Without a doubt, California is my favorite state in the US. The most important factor is the Ocean. If it’s not the surf, it’s the amount of wildlife that can be seen in Southern California.
Lately, I have payed a few visits to SoCal to observe the juvenile Great White sharks that come close to shore because of the warmer waters and the food supply (*not humans) that they can find here. From July-November, hundreds of sharks are just outside of the surfers lineup, floating around and peacefully socializing with human beings, a must-watch event.
UTAH
Have you ever been to Mars? No one has, but Utah comes close. The most amazing rock structures and formations are located in Utah. The best way to have an insane experience is by driving around the state in the different seasons that the year offers.
COLORADO
Paradise for athletes.
Colorado works year round for the adventurous energetic people. Skiers enjoy the best snow of the world in winter, while hikers explore the beautiful forests in summer. The Rocky Mountains just never stop impressing every visitor.
